Wendy grew up attending art lessons, doing lots of craftwork and wanting to be a fashion designer but ended up reading law and graduated with a LLB(Hons) from the University of London.Her craft-making background includes jewellery boxes, paper bags, scrapbook, photo frames, greeting cards, patchwork, basic crochet, needle sewing and origami.

It was fate that jewellery making found its way to her life, something she taught herself during the early stages of recovery from a brain aneurysm back in 2006 and has never looked back since.

She goes mad over clusters of beads and colours. It is her fascination with pretty shiny things
that makes her passionate about jewellery making. She’s even more passionate about finding her inner creative muse.

Like any other girl, she loves fashion, shoes and bags and finds it hard to resist ice-creams and jellies.When she’s not making jewellery, she pens down her jewellery making journey in The Work Room or catches up with the latest news and gossips of Hallyu (That's Korean's answer to Hollywood, just in case you're wondering ;).

She is currently based in Perak, Malaysia and welcomes all customization query. :)

Artist Statement

How often do you buy a piece of jewellery only to bump into someone else who also has the same piece?
How often do you see jewellery pieces sold on the market which looks similar if not the same?
How often are these jewellery pieces a carbon copy with no life or soul of its own?

At Atelier Wendy Sue, we want you to know that much care and thought has been put into the creation of each piece of jewelry here, each with their own story to tell which makes it uniquely yours to own. It is this craftsmanship that is absent in the world of large-scale manufacturing

The chain store culture and global manufacturing has left us dressing and wearing alike.
No two individuals are created the same, and so should what we wear.

Princess Diary

The Princess Diary is made from opal gemstone chips and 6mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Lt. Grey. A silver plated flower spacer hangs from the centre of the necklace as the pendant with a 11mm Swarovski teardrop bead dangle in Crystal AB. Earrings are a simple pair of stud earrings from 6mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Lt. Grey with a 11mm Swarovski teardrop bead in Crystal AB to match the necklace Bracelet is made using opal gemstone chips and 6mm Swarovski crystal pearl in Lt. Grey. I added hand formed silver plated jump rings between the sections of the bracelet to give it that extra edge. All made from silver plated wires and findings. Simple yet luxurious to fit a princess !

Shipping is by International Registered Airmail(7-10 business days) and charged at $4.00 for the first item and $0.50 for each subsequent item.

I only accept direct deposit into my MBB or PBB account.

Payment details will be sent in the confirmation email. Please pay within 3 days of confirmation. Booking payment not made within 3 days will be canceled. Please take note that MEPS Interbank Giro transfer may take a day or two for payment to clear. Delay in delivery in such circumstances will be unavoidable.

Introducing Corris: comes from the word "corrispondenza" which means matching in Italian. Each piece of jewellery under this range comes with their matching necklaces and/or earrings and/or bracelets which are all sold separately.

Our other stand-alone jewellery pieces are stored under their respective labels of Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings.

We also have Necklace & earrings sets for sale; necklaces which come with a free pair of matching earrings. Saves you the headache from matching them and they also make great gifts for loved ones!

At present, Atelier Wendy Sue is wholly an online blog shop carrying works by Wendy Sue.

Each piece of jewellery is meticulously handmade by me and they come in only one piece per design. Items for sale are not subjected to reservations and is sold based on "first-come-first-serve" basis.

All items listed here are currently available for sale. Sold item(s) will be marked as sold. Should the item(s) become unavailable at the time of order, we will inform you and monies paid will be fully refunded or you may also opt for a replacement with other item(s) up to the equivalent value.

Size adjustments are available. Please contact me for further details.

Item(s) will be shipped from Malaysia. Shipping charges does not only include postage fees but also taking into account handling charges such as packaging etc.Your purchase will be bubble-wrapped in envelop and all efforts are made to ensure that it reaches you in as perfect condition as they leave us.

Jewelry Care

To achieve maximum life span, your jewelry:

should be treated gently

placed separately to avoid tangling and scratching of the crystal surfaces, especially pearls

guard against oil and dirt

remember the rule "Last to put on, First to take off"

do not subject them to constant sweating or washing

wiped gently with a silver polishing cloth to clean and return its shine
